The transfer from IDA to Washington DC was very easy and pleasant. Great and friendly driver. The organisation behind the booking doesn’t respond on our questions about additional charges. More than 20% without any clear explanation. Please be aware.

I would not recommend using viator for private pick up and transfers to hotel especially if you are a foreigner. Whilst the description suggests the driver will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name on and all you have to do is provide your flight details- this is not what happens in reality. You are passed on to a third party and you have to call them when you arrive. My reality was I used the pay phones in the terminal as I didn’t want to incur huge data roaming charges on my U.K. mobile. The number provided on the ticket was out of service. I spent an hour trying to locate alternative numbers and calling different offices and being transferred and cut off and eventually told I had to make my own way to my hotel. I went to the Washington flyer desk and got a cab within 1 minute……I should have done this to start with.
