The Cabbagetown neighborhood contains an historic cotton mill town established in the late 19th century as well as restored shotgun houses

Home to the Atlanta’s oldest park, it houses the largest collection of Victorian homes and Craftsman bungalows in the city and one of the only homes that predates the Civil War

Oakland Cemetery
The garden cemetery is the final resting place for various historical figures including Civil War soldiers, the author of Gone with the Wind and the founder of The Masters Golf Tournament

Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site
The district includes the birthplace, church and final resting place of the leader of the Civil Rights movement

Great trip to see a span of history in Atlanta. Chris was exceptional in his understanding of Atlanta history, and key spots to visit. MLK National Historical Park is outstanding.
