Overview

Experience another world in Badlands National Park. Wildlife and fossil spotting is a favorite as we weave our way through the spires and pinnacles of the park. We make many stops, and can incorporate a hike if you wish! Lunch in the park with spectacular views will be a highlight. On to the Minuteman National Historic Site, for some incredible living WW2 history. On our way back to Rapid City, Wall Drug calls us in for homemade donuts.

Tour with our knowledgable local guides and take in the park in your own time. Our private tours are flexible, with time to take photos, walk and enjoy the area as you wish to!

All the guide wanted to do was look at sheep and deer, even stopped so he could look with binoculars that we couldn’t see

Hi Joe, wow, we are beyond surprised with your review and so sorry to hear of your disappointment. We will give you a call to understand what about your day was a 1 star experience? From our experience we arranged a custom tour; re-arranging the day for you to visit multiple stops, provided a fresh lunch and opened up in our off season to take you through the Badlands. We spoke about the geology and history of the area at length and allowed for ample time at all the stops requested. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife out being a fall day, most of our guests are very excited to see huge big horn sheep - perhaps we stopped more than you would have liked (which we would have been happy to skip if you said so). I suppose we thought that being a vet that would excite you, sorry to have not met the mark. We are so disappointed that we didn't meet your expectations. We will give you a call to discuss further.

My husband and I had the most wonderful tour of the Badlands with our guide Joel. Joel is extremely knowledge and an all round great guide. We choose to take the sunset tour. We got the visit the Badlands in the day light then enjoy the view as the sunset. The wine and food was delicous as well as plentiful. The vehicle as clean and very comfortable. We are so glad we did not miss this day.

We toured 4.5 days on private customized tours. Our guide was Joel. Vans were comfortable, Joel was informative and flexible with our visits and his love of the area is contagious.
