Overview

Enjoy a private half day adventure for up to 6 guests aboard our late model pontoon boat. Guests may discover and observe diverse marine habitats and wildlife refuges as well as spot an abundance of marine birds and sea life. Paddle on your own via kayak or paddleboard through natural, winding, mangrove lined tidal creeks and then relax on a sandbar or island on one of our floats. Bring your own snacks and drinks and your dog!

What's Included

we have floating rafts for lounging

we only provide bottled water. but there is a cooler for anything you'd like to bring

The capt usually has her dog (unless it's an issue for you). Your dog is welcome!!

Contact us the day before and let us know if you'd like kayaks or paddle boards or a combo. You'll paddle on your own but your captain will provide any needed instruction

Customers should bring sun protection (hat, long sleeves, sunglasses, reef safe sunscreen) and a sense of adventure!

Captain Lyndsi was great. Although it rained most of the afternoon we still had a wonderful time. Rain is rare but she helped us make the best of it. Great experience and saw lots of interesting stuff.

My partner and I did the backcountry tour with Robin. It was a blast!! Robin really knew her stuff and was so friendly and set a perfect pace for us. Definitely a highlight of our trip! Anybody who wants to get out on the water would be lucky to book a trip with lazy dog! We learned so much and had a lot of fun paddling. Transport included too which was an awesome perk

Highly Recommend Lazy Dog! They are our go to place to rent kayaks and paddle boards while in Key West. This trip we decided to book the Sand Bar Adventure and we had a blast! Our Captain was Heather and her co-Captain Timmy (her cute rescue dog) found us a great spot, explained the importance of the mangroves and helped my boys master the paddle board. They provided ice cold water and cold snacks while on the sandbar and we were able to bring our 'adult drinks' with us. The check in staff always offers great customer service, and they have good quality hats/tees for sale. We will be repeat customers!
