Central Park Tours
The tour will begin just five blocks from Central Park, conveniently located near all major hotels in Midtown Manhattan. As you approach the main entrance of Central Park, there will be a brief stop where your tour guide will give you the general information about this man-made architectural wonder. You will learn who built the park, when and what it used to be before it was one of the most visited sights in New York.
2
Bethesda Fountain
Approximately 15 minutes after you begin the tour, you will reach the first stop, where the guide will drop you off and you will have the chance the explore Bethesda Terrace. Considered one of the most beautiful places in Central Park, you will have the opportunity to go for a short stroll, take some photos and enjoy the street performances.
3
Cherry Hill
The next stop will be Cherry Hill, a place to buy a horse in the past; now this venue opens up a breathtaking view of the lake and the Upper West Side. This is where you will hear about the luxury condos of the rich and famous and hear some gossips from your local expert.
4
Strawberry Fields, John Lennon Memorial
You will then arrive at Strawberry Fields, one of the most visited places in Central Park and a memorial for John Lennon. Situated right across the street from The Dakota, where the famous Beatle used to live. You will be dropped off in front of the entrance, and will have the chance to walk the gardens. Sit and relax while listening to some of the most popular songs of one of the most influential bands in the 80s.
5
Belvedere Castle
If you decide to do the 2-hour tour, you will begin heading north until you get to the Belvedere Castle. This gorgeous castle is one of the most romantic sights in Central Park. You will go to the top of the castle and enjoy the amazing views of the park and the city.

Our driver really tried to make the tour presonal for us. Once he figured our interests out he made sure to show us spots that fit. We had a really good time.

EXcellent in all respects. Guide was great, tour covered only about half the park, but it was all you could see in the amount of time we had. It was also relaxing after a day of walking, enjoyable because we had the guides attention 100 percent of the time and so we got lots of answers to questions we had been unable to ask on other tours. We would do it again if we ever are in NYC again.

Would recommend this tour to experience all of Central Park as its huge and only a guide would be able to point out all the interesting places and facts about the park and the surrounding buildings. We made the mistake of going straight to the park for the tour but you need to go to the ticket office located about a 10 minute walk from the park and although it says on the ticket that the tours run all day long, the ticket office did say that they would normally ask us to book a time slot. We were lucky that our tour guide was free and he came to collect us within 15 mins from the tour office and took us to the park. A really excellent tour and tour guide who was really knowledgable and friendly. Would highly recommend this tour.
