Chelsea Market
Chelsea Market and the High Line are two of NYC's best attractions! ThisĀ food and history tour features incredible insights and stories as well as some delicious food and fantastic NYC views. Plus, our tour guides are truly entertaining and it's enough food for lunch! Did you know that although the area was originally residential, markets have existed in the district since the 1840s. People moved into tenements in the Meatpacking District in the 1820s to escape epidemics in what was then the main part of New York. In 1900, 250 slaughterhouses and packing plants filled the area; and by the 1930s, those houses produced the nationā€™s 3rd-largest volume of dressed meats.Ā Five meatpacking companies still operate in the district. Boutiques and bars are more common than rump roasts these days, and the neighborhood continues to evolve almost daily. Foods and activities on the tour include: ā€¢ Slice of Sicilian style pizza from Filaga ā€¢ VIP pastry sampler at Las Delicias Patisserie (gluten free & vegan available!) ā€¢ Doughnuttery doughnut ā€¢ Little 'witch from Fat Witch Bakery ā€¢ Seed + Mill halva ā€¢ Zach & Zoe honey ā€¢ How hot can you go?! Guided hot sauce tasting by a hot sauce "sommelier" ā€¢ Brief shopping adventure with introduction and tote bag at Artists & Fleas ā€¢ Beer, wine or $5 sangria available (additional cost) Please be aware that stops are subject to change at any time.

Hudson Yards
Hudson Yards is a brand new real estate development within Manhattan - a mini city. It is the largest private real estate development in the country. It is home to Vessel, an elaborate honeycomb-like structure that rises 16 stories and consists of 154 flights of stairs, 2,500 steps, and 80 landings for visitors to climb.

Chris was our guide and he was wonderful. Would never have even known about the high line if it wasnā€™t for this tour. Food at Chelsea market is superb.

We went on the virtual tour with Jillian - what a great idea. There were some technical hiccoughs but Jillian took them in stride and we had a lot of fun . Great pics both real time and historical. We can't wait to be back in New York and able to do in person tours once again. She is a terrific tour guide, both in person on previous tours and online last week.

A few months ago, my company had the wonderful opportunity to work with Lauren to create a private tour of the Chelsea Market and High Line. We were able to pick and choose the attractions that we wanted to see and food stops that we wanted to try. The pricing was very reasonable for the length of the tour, quality of the tour guide and amount of food & drinks that we had a chance to sample. One particular fun highlight was the hot sauce tasting at Heatonist. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for an educational and entertaining activity in NYC that can be customized for any guests.
