We literally went around the whole island on a private car. We stopped in beautiful places and learned so much about the Hawaiian culture and ways of life. Had the best shrimp ever I must say. Our tour guide Sierra was simply amazing. She’s an increíble young lady full of good energy. Definitely a blessed soul making the world a better place. Although the tour was amazing, Evan (our guide) was hands down the best part about it. His knowledge of Hawaiian history has no limits and he was also super friendly. Couldn’t recommend this more to anyone wanting to get a personalised look at Hawaii and wanting to know more about the culture.

Evan was hands down our favorite part of our Oahu trip! He has young kids himself so he isn't phazed by whatever the rugrats are up to. Our 4.5 year old loved him and he was able to sneak in an afternoon nap on the way back from the north shore. Evan showed us places that tourists wouldn't know about and his local Intel was fabulous. He showed us how to drink from an aquifer for example - something we wouldn't have ever tried. Totally recommend the custom experience - no need to worry about people being late and the customization is worth it. My one suggestion for improvement is for the company to provide water bottles in the car. At $600 for the day, I expected it given our experience with other private tours around the world. Didn't detract from the overall experience, but stood out in my memory precisely because if even normal Uber drivers sometimes offer bottles of water for short jaunts, then an all day ride definitely should.
