First visit to Hawaii for my cousin and I so we had no idea what sites to choose from the many things to see here.. We elected to do a private tour so we could skip some of the regular stops that many tours include. This was the best decision we could have possibly made. We were lucky to have Daniel as our tour guide and as promised, we skipped some of the tourist stops and saw some places we knew we wanted and asked Daniel to fill in what he thought we would like. He did not disappoint! He knows so much about the history of the island and shared that as we drove the island. We had so much fun with him on this tour! Don't expect a dry dull guide who talks to you in a monotone voice. He is full of life and laughter and we decided that his tour was the very best part of out 6 day trip! If you want to really see Oahu, call Daniel's Hawaii!

We had a 14 hour layover in Oahu and we wanted to book a tour that would take us around the island in one day. The experience met and exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Makena, was very personable and super knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii. He was very flexible with what we wanted to see and experience. We lucked out and saw a whale, sea turtle, AND a monk seal. We got to try some kalua pig with poi and some delicious shaved ice with ice cream at the bottom of the cub. He also took all the photos my wife desired. Excellent and unforgettable experience. Thank you Makena!

We took a day tour of Oahu with Daniel and had a great time. Daniel knows the island well, is easy to talk with, engaging, and plans the day so you get adequate time to see things, but at just the right pace. The van was also very clean, and comfortable. And you will get to see beaches and other things that as first timers we would have struggled to find on our own. If you are looking for a small group tour or private tour, look no further. Definitely one of the best tours I’ve taken in years of travel.
