Our guides were wonderful. Only problem we were in 2 vans as opposed to one & wanted our family together. It was not the guides fault. I feel Viator should compensate us for being separated. We were celebrating an engagement & wanted everyone together

I struggle with how to review this tour. Wish there was a 3 1/2 star option. Our tour guide was wonderful and I believe the company is a good company so I hate to sound negative about the tour. They were responsive, on time, friendly etc. Helped us find a place to park a car for free. Helped find a bathroom when our 7 year old was desperate. Helped with restaurant suggestions and tour suggestions etc. Problem was that on the day of our tour traffic was so horrible on the island that we really spent most of the day sitting in the van in stopped traffic and as a result, did not end up having nearly as much time to see sites as we had hoped. Our guide was very knowledgeable so she shared a lot of good stories and information with us while we were stopped in the traffic, but it still made for a very long day with seven people of assorted ages. And again, I cannot reiterate enough that our tour guide was wonderful and I realize that neither the guide or the operator can control the traffic, so on a day without the traffic it probably would’ve been a fabulous experience. But if you are picking a crowded time to tour the island of Oahu you should just be prepared for the fact that it takes a lot longer to get from place to place and ends up feeling like a lot of time just sitting in traffic in a car. And for how much the tour costs, that made it a little disappointing.

This tour was purchased as a gift. The recipients reported that Melissa was a wonderful guide, and they had a great time. She was very kind and knowledgeable, and they would recommend her, and this tour, to anyone!
