What To Expect

Newport Beach

Our Coast Guard Licensed Captain and Certified Marine Naturalist will welcome you aboard Surfrider. You will get a tour of Newport Harbor. Followed by a fast boat ride out on the Pacific Ocean through Newport, Laguna Beach, and Dana Point in search of the abundant Marine Mammals off our beautiful coast. You will be given a narration by our expert Marine Naturalist about these amazing mammals

Newport Surfrider. Dustin took great care of us, family of 2 teens and a 5 year old. He called the morning of scheduled activity to state weather was questionable and gave us an option to delay if our schedule permitted. We went out the following day and skies and ocean beautiful. Very knowledgeable and informative experience. Lots of dolphins and sea lions. Due to time of year we did not see whales but definitely a great experience. Highly recommend. A bit more expensive but having only our family on board increased the experience exponentially.

Fantastic experience with Captain Dustin. We saw a great White, hundreds of dolphins, sunfish and sea lions. I would absolutely recommend this trip!

We had a wonderful time on the dolphin tour. Dustin’s knowledge of the history of the harbor, past and present was a added bonus. We saw so many dolphins! He exceeded our expectations. We will definitely book another tour on our next visit.
