We did the halfway tour with Eric from Maui Seasons. We can't say enough about how thorough and enjoyable the tour was from Eric! The car was perfect clean and well stocked with water and snacks which my kids loved! Eric had the best stories and so much Hawaiian history - truly one of the best tour guides we have ever had! The company was super easy to book with and easy to confirm. True professionals! I also appreciated the safe and slow driving which when on the road to Hana is super important and alleviated my concerns with driving the narrow roads. Overall it was an amazing day and our favorite part of our trip!!! Highly recommend Maui Seasons and Eric as your driver!

My husband and I did the half day trip to Hana and had a fantastic trip! We were picked up by Katrice in a beautiful and comfortable Cadillac SUV. She was immediately friendly and approachable and we truly enjoyed listening to her stories as much as we enjoyed all the sights. One of my little favorites was how she explained why she honked her horn in tunnels - we thought it was such a cool story that we did it ourselves in our rental car each time we passed through as well! Katrice called ahead and order our breakfast at a great local restaurant and it was ready for us right as we arrived. We appreciated many of those small details that were carefully orchestrated. Along the road to Hana, we saw beautiful waterfalls and ocean views, stopping several times to get photos. Katrice was a phenomenal drivers - this is a detail that cannot be overstated. Having never been to Maui, we would have never known how dangerous and windy that road can be. I would never have wanted to drive it as a tourist, or be driving it while other tourists were on the road as well! We were so thankful to have gone with a professional who clearly knew the way expertly and was extremely safe. The food we stopped for along the way was just about as good as the views - we had some homemade banana bread and a pineapple smoothie at a roadside stop at the halfway to Hana point (both delicious) and then stopped at Leoda's pie shop at the end of our tour for some delicious individual pies - well worth the stop! Thanks to Maui Seasons for the wonderful tour and especially to Katrice for the wonderful service and conversation! You were awesome!
