One of the best experiences on a fishing trip. It was a 5 guy trip and we were more than happy. We caught 3 sharks. One of them was a 12 foot bull shark. Absolutely Amazing! Thanks Andrew. We will be back.

We took a 6-hour morning trip with BigAngler Charters. It was our first time offshore so we weren’t sure what to expect, but this trip couldn’t have gone any better. The boat was spacious and never felt crowded with the five of us on board, there was plenty of shade, and the captain kept it very clean. Capt Andrew was friendly, personable, professional, and awesome with our boys (ages 10 and 8). He took music playlist requests and kept great tunes on the whole trip. He put us on fish at several spots, and in total we caught over a hundred fish consisting of a bunch of different species (porgies, lane snapper, grunts, red grouper, hogfish, triggerfish, even a pufferfish and a remora!). He also made sure our hooks were constantly baited to keep our lines in the water. Capt Andrew was especially awesome and efficient at times when all four of us were hooked up at the same time! He took the time to talk to our boys about the different fish we landed; the trick with the triggerfish’s fins was especially cool, as was the remora’s suctioning to our 10yo’s arm! We were also lucky enough to see flying fish jumping out of our wake on the trip out, and we saw two loggerhead turtles - one of which was only about 50 feet from the boat! After Capt Andrew cleaned our catch at the dock, we had a bagful of filets thqt we took to a restaurant right at the marina based on the Capt’s recommendation and had them prepared fried and blackened - very good! It was a perfect half day trip, and we will definitely book with BigAngler on our next trip to Clearwater!

Such a good time with Andrew and Bailey on the Big Angler! We booked the 8 hr trip, caught a ton of snapper and grouper (and some cobia) and had a great day on the water! The guys were great and very accommodating! Highly recommend them for a fishing charter in Clearwater!
