Experience Colonial life in real time as you walk around Duke or Gloucester street, the governor's mansion and the Virginia House of Burgesses. As you explore, you will witness ladies and gentlemen of the 18th century in their authentic apparel and a reenactment of George Washington on his way to Yorktown.

After about a two and a half hour trip from Washington, DC, you will arrive at one of the first established English colonies at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, come experience both the tragic and triumphant story of the Jamestown Colony, better known as America's birthplace

Colonial Williamsburg

Costume interpreted guided tour of the Governor's Palace, Capital and courthouse. Admission to trade sites, to see and speak with expert masters, journeymen, and apprentices practicing 18th century trades in costume. Admission to daily staged performances on the Charleton Stage and Hennage Auditorium. Admission to two of their Art Museums.
