What To Expect

Salem

Beautiful large estate winery with a vast selection of wines. Options available for viewing the cellar or taking a full tour.

Aurora

Small estate winery offers a little more personalized attention and different selection of wines.

Newberg

A boutique winery with a very hand crafted approach to winemaking. While the selection of wine is limited, the terraces are beautiful and you will often find the owner or winemaker stopping by for a visit or story.

Shane planned a truly phenomenal day from start to finish. There were so many extra, thoughtful touches that made the experience wonderful for our group of 8. Shane worked with me to plan a day that included three distinct wineries, one with a personalized session with a winemaker, one paired with a gourmet meal, and another relaxing, chill vibe tasting room- all with delicious wine we loved. He also surprised us with a delicious ice cream stop at a historic general store. His customized van was perfect, complete with personalized gifts for us, a mic to sing karaoke! Shane’s door to door service from our downtown Portland hotel was exceptional and I can’t recommend him enough!!

Hood River along the Columbia Gorge and through the foothills of Parkdale is the perfect place to be on a warm sunny day. Recently, I had the pleasure of boarding The Good Vibes Tour van (second booking) with a group of Corkdorks (7 friends who love to drink wine) to explore the glorious Columbia River Gorge. Our chauffeur, Shane, isn’t your ordinary driver. His has a great sense of humor, very personable, knowledgeable about where the best wine industry locations are in the Northwest. The on-board entertainment and special touches designed specifically for his clients are ones that you won’t find anywhere else. This was a 5-star adventure!

Our company booked Shane for a private half day wine tour for four. This was my first experience on a "wine tour" and Shane really set the bar high on what to expect and just how much fun a wine tour can be! Shane had our trip start off with a bang, sabering off the bottle of sparkling rosé we ordered before giving us each a wonderful souvenir wine cup and loading us into his tricked out van. That van itself was incredibly comfy and fun with the lights and bluetooth speakers and managed to stay very cool inside despite the heat of the day. Shane himself also managed to out dress me looking straight out of Miami Vice with a matching palm tree suit jacket and short set that I now need. Our winery selections were a great contrast, including a larger operation for lunch that included a tasting of multiple regional wines for us to get a deliciously varied picture of the area, and the second being a much smaller, more intimate and highly detailed tasting with the owner where we could discuss variations from year to year and what it's like owning a vineyard. Both times, Shane stepped in lightly to inject a little more fun into the experience, offering postcards that he would mail out to anyone we wanted or even write to ourselves to send out in the winter to remind us of those summer days, and also to serve some s'mores cones as a final pairing with a bonus wine tasting we got to try at the last place. Shane was also a great driver, we never felt unsafe or experienced any hiccups. Also he clearly is well known and respected amongst the wineries we visited which adds an extra level of trust. Overall the experience was incredibly fun much to the jealousy of all our coworkers who didn't choose to go, so we'll have to book again next year!
