We were planning on a walking tour, but was sold out so ended up on this shuttle tour. So happy we did because we got to see SO MUCH MORE this way that we could have never experienced with a walking tours. We literally got to see Jerome from numerous perspectives including the cemetery. It was very interesting to hear about all the history. We got to appreciated Jerome because of the history. Seeing the same places and not knowing the history makes is insignificant. My recommendation would be to do the shuttle tour and not the walking tour. Tried to eat at the Haunted Hamburger but the wait was too long to make the tour. It was recommended by two different people and has good overlook of the valley. We did eat at Hilltop Deli: good and convenient location to the tour.

Excellent tour led by Brandon. My husband and I were the only ones on this afternoon tour so we got to ask away. All of our questions were answered in detail. I loved learning about the early days of Jerome. The history of this little town on the mountain was fascinating. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better tour or guide. It was the highlight of our visit.

The tour guide had a lot of knowledge of the mines. However, we were not impressed with a number of things on the tour. The guide left us standing while he went to get some hot soup, which we had to smell in the van during the tour. He ate it in front of us and did not talk at points because of it. He made no effort to open the van door and assist us in or out of the van. He insulted the people who live in a nearby town, insinuated they are all stupid, after he had been told some of our tour group lived there. Not good for business. Too bad, we were really looking forward to it and were disappointed.
