Oahu has many amazing spots to learn how to surf. The world-famous North Shore is probably one of the best spots in Hawaii to learn how to catch your first wave. We offer a unique surfing experience suitable for first-time wave sliders.

Our professional surf instructors will explain the fundamentals of surfing, reading the surf zone, surfing etiquette, timing, and catching the wave, as well as the transition from paddling to standing.

We will fine-tune your lesson to meet your specific needs. To make it even easier for first-timers, a push from your instructor will help you catch your first Hawaiian wave!

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her first surf lesson. However, the instructor was supposed to provide her with a rash guard shirt to wear. He didn't bring one, and she ended up with a severe sunburn (even after using sunblock) that was so painful it prevented her for participating in any activities the following day. I recommend bringing your own shirt to be safe. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

My daughter and I took surfing lessons with Jacy. He was amazing and very accommodating to my last minute scheduling request. The location made the logistics easy for us first time surfers. His instructions and ability to help us time the waves properly made surfers out of both of us. It was an unforgettable day on the North Shore!

Excellent time surfing with Holten and Micah! All of us were able to ride the waves even my husband and I who are almost 50! Was impressed!
