It was a lot of fun. The tour operators welcomed us into a warm yurt where they had heavy coats and boots to put on over our clothing. We got to meet all the dogs before the ride. The dogs were so sweet and funny. They all began howling, barking and jumping up and down when they knew it waAmanda es almost time to go. They love to run! The sled was comfortable and warm. Amanda, our musher had blankets for us to use in the sled too. We enjoyed a ride through the woods and stopped at a frozen pond for pictures and to give the dogs a break. We really enjoyed talking to our musher Amanda and her team of dogs. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Alaska.
