It was my first time going to Catalina. I booked our golf cart tour three weeks ahead of time and they were wonderful with communicating on time and location of pickup. I told her it was for me and my special needs son. She asked if there was anything they could do to make the experience special for him, I couldn’t think of anything, I said he’d be happy with just getting to ride in the golf cart. The day we were supposed to go, the weather was so bad that the Catalina Flyer suspended operations. I alerted the tour company as soon as I got the news and they immediately offered to give a refund or rebook us. Catalina adventure was the highlight of our Spring Break andWe wanted to see it so we rebooked. It was 47 degrees when we got off the boat. Elizabeth met us at the pier with a warm blanket- fresh out of the dryer, to put around us during the tour. She also brought two huge bottles of bubbles with the long wand and the whole tour, my son was delighted as the bubbles trailed behind us as we zipped around the island. She also brought apple juice and water in case we got thirsty. Her attention to detail was excellent and her understand of our individual needs and how to best meet them were spot on! Elizabeth, our guide was one of just a handful of people actually born and had grown up on the island, so she knew Everything! Her stories were fascinating and she knew where to stop for all the best views! She was knowledgeable and told us everything about the island from its heritage to the animal life, the best places to eat, to the other activities available ... anything I could think of to ask. It was a breathtakingly beautiful tour, done in style and individualized to fit our needs. I would do it again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend the guided golf cart tour. For one thing, you can just relax and look at the amazing views while someone else drives and you can take all the pictures you want and you can stop when ever and where ever and just ..take it all in and all the while learning about all the wonderful things Catalina has to offer. I highly recommend!

I took my mother for her 80th Birthday to Catalina and we did the Guided Golf Cart Tour. The entire family including our teenager was smitten with Elizabeth. She has a wealth of stories, having spent most of her life on the Island and knowing everything and everybody. We learned so much and we all loved it. It was hard to say good bye to her, There was so much more we wanted to hear....
