I took my girlfriend and her son to Catalina for her birthday and chose to take a private guided tour. Our tour guide was fantastic. She had complete knowledge of the island and showed us many informative about the island’s history that we had no idea of. I’d highly recommend if you’re going to take a tour of Catalina Island, Use Catalina Private Tours. It cost a little bit more than the group tours but it’s well worth it.

I am not sure what exactly extra we did in this tour that we could not have done just by renting a golf cart on our own.
