Lance Fisher Fishing offers private guided fishing trips in the Portland area. Having a maximum of 4 people in the boat allows for personal coaching from an expert fishing guide. We use only top-of-the-line equipment, from the boat and motors to the fishing rods and tackle. Enjoy a day salmon fishing from a jet boat on one of our local rivers. Portland is beautiful and our guided fishing trips allow you to experience it from a unique perspective that few have the opportunity to enjoy.

When my friend Carmen asked me to go with him on a one day sturgeon fishing trip I had no idea what to expect.lance arrived at the dock right on time and his boat and gear are top notch.safety gear was excellent and easy to fish with while wearing His boat is spotless and fishing rigs state of the art. I have been on many charters but this was by far the best. Heading out he informed us where we would be going and what to expect. We set up the anchor and lance baited our Riggs with shrimp explaining what to do if we got bit .lance said it would take about 20 minutes for the fish to get active after the motor shut off.this was the only thing he got inaccurate it was 3 minutes and game on….. non stop hookups with multiple doubles . Not one fish was lost and all released to fight another day. This was a epic outing as we caught over twenty sturgeon weighing between 40-to 85 pounds between the two of us.having never fished sturgeon or the Columbia river before this will always be a trip of a lifetime
