We took a tour with Kevin and it was phenomenal. The tour was not only about the art, but brought the pieces to life through the history of the artists/creators, and the often arduous journey that the artwork took to be on display. He was able to hit the highlights and also take us to the less traveled parts of the met. Very special experience. We took another tour with him…as exceptional.

Earlier today my family and I experienced one of the most informative, enjoyable, and worthwhile guided tours of our life. Kevin was simply superb and even added a guided tour of Central Park before our tour of the Met. He tailored the tour to our needs in every respect - duration of tour, subject matter of tour, and pace of tour. We were a diverse groups of kids and adults and yet Kevin managed to make the tour absorbing for everyone. A life-long resident of New York, Kevin combines an unapologetic passion for his home town with a rigorous and detailed knowledge of history and a kind and considerate personality. There are tons of tour options in New York City, but you really don't have to look any further than New York Historical Tours. Next time we head to the Big Apple our first call will be to Kevin to arrange another tour. We can't wait. Thank you so much, Kevin!
