Private Guided Walking History Tour

Overview
Gather 'round for an exciting new adventure that's sure to thrill and enrich your visit to St. Augustine. Join us for the Private guided walking history tour where you and your family can step back in time and learn about the swashbuckling pirates and brave colonial citizens who once roamed these historic streets.

Our guided walking tour is the perfect way to immerse your family in the rich history of this fascinating city. As you stroll through the streets and narrow alleys, your guide will regale you with tales of daring pirates, brave settlers, and epic battles on the high seas.

This is no ordinary history lesson. We believe that the best way to learn is by doing, so we've crafted a series of hands-on learning experiences that will make you feel like they're part of the action. They can hold a real cannon ball and imagine the power of a pirate ship's artillery, feel the weight of a nail from the blacksmith's forge, and examine ancient artifacts up close.

Scott was our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and made the experience more than worthwhile! We saw sites that we never would’ve seen. Scott has a long history in Saint Augustine, making the tour very special since he’s connected to the city in deep ways with deep roots there. Hope to see you again! Also, your recommendations were all excellent, especially Barley’s for the reuben sandwich and the flight of Cheesecakes at the the Bourbon Cheesecake.

The explanation of the history of pirates and privateering tailored specifically for toddlers and young children, the candle making, the treasure hunt. The personalities of the tour guides were amazing.

We enjoyed the history, the artifacts, and our Pirate guide. My niece felt very special and enjoyed the treasure chest and most of all: the fox tail she got to wear.

We had so much fun with Autumn. So glad you all enjoyed the tour and hope that we helped make her birthday special. Come back for our Key to the City Scavenger Hunt next time you are in town.
