Private Hike in Big Bear with Lake Swimming Experience

Overview
This is really a local's favorite hike in Big Bear that goes to one of the least known scenic lake viewpoints in Big Bear.
What is the best time to do after a sweaty summertime hike? Swim off a dock in the beautiful Big Bear Lake Harbor! The lake water is actually warmer to swim here than in the middle of the lake. One thing a lot of travelers don't know, if you rent a boat on Big Bear Lake (Very pricy) you can not swim off the rental boats. This is a great summertime experience after a hike on a hot day to get to cool off in alpine Big Bear Lake
If my guests would like to picnic off the boat afterwards they can bring lunch, beer, drinks. I will bring an ice chest for them to put their lunch in while we are hiking. I will even walk to a nearby fantastic restaurant in the village (As a foodie, I know all the best restaurants in Big Bear) & pickup to-go lunches for my hikers to enjoy on the boat after the hike if requested (For this service, hikers must Venmo me to pay for their meals)

This experience was awesome! First the hike was beautiful and serene and Amber knows so much about the plants and animals and area. Seriously, she knows all the trails in Big Bear. She structures the hike around you to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself at all times. And the boat! So first off we considered renting a boat for ourselves before we saw this experience. It's $300 to rent a boat on big bear for an hour and you aren't even allowed to swim off a rental boat. So basically it's not a good deal. With Amber we spent less, got more time, got more experience, had a super friendly helpful host, and got to hike and swim! Swimming off the dock and and hanging out on the boat is super relaxing and just what we needed! And Amber went above and beyond by picking up some food we ordered at a nearby restaurant and bringing it back so we could eat lunch on the boat! Overall awesome experience! Highly recommend! Best part of a big bear trip!

Amber took us on a trail less traveled so it was nice especially now to be on a trail with few people. Amber is very knowledgeable about plants and trees. She knows a lot about the Big Bear area. We had a great time on her hike!!
