We pride ourselves on NOT being your standard well-manicured “Tourist Experience”, including a fancy bus and a menu of all the most trite tourist activities but instead an experience that will feel like friends taking you around the island exploring the best hikes Oahu has to offer!

Unforgettable experience! I could not recommend booking a hiking tour with Luca any more. Before taking you hiking on one or more of Oahu’s beautiful trails, Luca will check in with you to make sure your hiking experience is 100% customized for what you are looking for. Luca arrived to pick me up early, provided snacks, water, and even a towel because I forgot to bring mine. For adventuring in Oahu, book with Luca!

Luca provided us with a hike that was tailor made for our skill levels and physical abilities. Through a series of give and take texts, we were able to hone in on the perfect hiking experience. It was a really enjoyable morning. Luca is very personable and was fun hiking and chatting with. The hike he selected was exactly what we wanted and it was the highlight of our Hawaiian vacation. I would highly recommend Luca and Adventure Guides Hawaii.

We scheduled a hike with Luca even though he did not have a ton of reviews because I wanted to do a hike with my wife and two teenage kids and him being a local guy who was willing to craft our hike to our interests was very appealing. Plus, him being a young guy and my kids being teenagers I hoped they would be more attuned to him. I was not disappointed. My daughter wanted to do a ridge hike and he brought us to an amazing spot in Kaneohe where we went straight up the side of a mountain to have the most amazing views. He looked out for the 50+ something parents as well as the teens. He has water for all and moved at a steady pace. Afterwards my son wanted to do a waterfall hike so he brought us to a great little short hike near a golf course that was a hidden gem. Luca is a young guy trying to give his customers a great experience of the places he calls home. He will pick you up in his beat up Toyota and offer you fruit and ham and cheese sandwiches he made himself that morning. You will get a genuine Hawaiian experience from a local boy. I HIGHLY recommend. Mahalo Luca!
