We were a bit worried because when we made reservations for this ride, the website only let us choose a date, not a specific time. On a day when downtown is super crowded, we worried about a long wait. We arrived at 2:15 and were told to be at the pickup location (a short walk away) for the 2:40 ride. That gave us plenty of time to hit the restrooms at the City Market and grab some yummy candied pecans while we were there. When 2:40 came around, we were waiting for our carriage and loaded up right on time. Our horse was Chico, and he (along with our driver) gave us a great tour around town. We saw some areas we hadn’t seen before, and learned some history that our other tours hadn’t shared. We even got to see the mansion of one of the Southern Charm stars (and saw some of the filming crew, too). The ride was a full hour long, making us feel that we got a great value for our money. We would definitely do the tour again, especially knowing that the city chooses one of four routes for each tour that goes out. If you got lucky, you could do it four times and have four different experiences!
