South Padre Island is home to large pods of Bottlenose Dolphins year around. There is no doubt that dolphins are one of the most exciting animals in the ocean along with our local Sea Turtles and jelly fish. Other wildlife includes Osprey, pelicans, and rosy cheek spoon bills. Learn about the history of South Padre Island, such as the extinct Karankawa Indian tribe, storms that the island endured, Queen Isabella Causeway, and the many lost treasures of ship wrecks. The vessel is a 26 ft Leisure Catamaran with a bimini cover for shade and a head ( bathroom ) aboard. Plenty of room for the whole family up to 6 passengers. This small group cruise ensures great wildlife encounters.

Our family of four was waiting a different tour guide, who unfortunately forgot us. Lobo Del Mar worked with us to try to reach the other operator and when they couldn’t, they offered us one of their excursions for a discount. Even though, they didn’t owe us a dime, they went out of their way to make our day fun, especially since it was our daughters 8th birthday. The place is owned by a family who treated us like family! The professionalism and kindness was unmatched! They took what could have been a ruined day and made it so much better! We did a private dolphin tour and saw so many dolphins. We saw sea turtles and even saw a stingray jump out of the water. The guides were so knowledgeable and down to earth. Then we did the banana boat and laughed the whole way! It was a day to remember, made special by this business. Highly recommend!!

Awesome experience!! Brady was a super guide/captain/host. Fun, fun, fun. Everyone was so nice. Would do it again in a minute. Perfect trip 😀
