Angelique was amazing. We went hard the night before at the Laundry Cellar Speakeasy so had a rough start getting going. Angelique was able to adjust the schedule and came with the bourbon rescue kit! Instead of breakfast and bourbon it became brunch and bourbon. The chef even fixed a vegan option for one of the guys. Old Louisville whiskey co was so interesting and the funnest drinking from barrels. We booked with her AfterParty Team. Keith and Sara had us partying til the sun came up. We had so much fun we’re coming back again for the bachelor party.

This was fantastic. Me and two of my sons celebrated Memorial Day and this is one stop we all enjoyed. Great view and tastings. We will be back.

Was hoping to get the main girl Angelique. She had some good reviews. Our tour guide Ed didn’t talk much about any of the distilleries. We recommend three boys distillery. We found out buffalo trace is complimentary tasting despite spending thousands of dollars for the whole tour. All in all we would like a partial refund. We spent 359 per person. We felt a bit ripped off for what we spent.

Hi Nate. So great to hear you really enjoyed our recommendation of Three Boys Farm. I’m sorry that your experience with Ed, your driver, wasn’t what you expected. The basic tour you chose included a driver, not a guide such as ā€œThe girlā€ Angelique. However Angelique was part of your package - the breakfast and bourbon experience. Your group opted to forego that experience and eat breakfast at the Brown hotel. If anyone wants Angelique for they day, they need to choose the expert bourbon sipper tour that includes Angelique for an additional $400. Please feel free to reach out directly at 202.999.9709 anytime to discuss further. With regards to the Viator online package pricing, it’s a preset package based on an 8 person tour. Your group size was 6 so I can see how you’d think it’s a little pricey. Online customization is not allowed. you would need to work directly with the tour company for any changes. Customizing packages is what separates us from the rest of the pack. We spend 3-4 hours curating the perfect package based on your groups special event, level of expertise and attendees. We build the day around Makers, Bardstown Bourbon Co., or Buffalo Trace distillery and include more intimate, hands on experiences, ā€œoff the touristy pathā€ such as drinking from barrels with owners, mixology classes, the 101 of bourbon, or sitting with a master distiller. Angelique is the owner and tries to make each experience special. Working directly with the company offers the ability to customize and take three run of the mill tours and create a once in a life experience. She tries to include breakfast and bourbon, lunch and blind tasting, Private collection and dinner with Tuwanna, or sunset, dinner and cigars garden withbottle service and a superhost for all her tours. My recommendation to anyone booking online, is to speak directly with the tour company especially when spending $275-$350 a person. Speaking directly with the tour company helps eliminate these type of issues. The online Viator packages are preset without the ability to customize due to the large percentage online sites take as commission. Finally with regards to Buffalo Trace, this stop was requested last minute and so we included it. As a practice we don’t allow customization on preset online packages. Our Buffalo Trace stop is for tastings only because the tour takes up too much time. Our goal is to give you a real bourbon country experience, have you sipping on different bourbons as much as possible to find the right one for your palette. Plus, after you’ve heard how bourbon is made we don’t think it’s wise to spend another 90 minutes hearing it again and 75 minutes before you even get to taste any bourbon. I’d be glad to discuss this further and thank you for taking the time to share your comments. It only makes us better. I look forward to hearing from you. We do this for a living and it’s most successful when you let us take the lead. - Angelique Owner ā€œthe girlā€
