Another awesome fishing experience with Ketchikan's Finest Fishing Charters. Captain Lukas and Captain Jake provided a fishing experience of a lifetime. We are already re-booked for August of 2025 and would highly recommend them to everyone!

This is my second time with Captain Lukas and Ketchikan’s Finest, and for the second year, it was an AMAZING experience! We went primarily for the fishing, but to be able to take in the views from the water is always a huge plus! We were even lucky enough to see whales! Again, it wasn’t a whale watching trip, but what a bonus! We were really chasing halibut and salmon. Now, it turned out that the silvers weren’t really running when I was there (though we caught some nice ones!) but that didn’t deter us from really in awesome fish! We ended up catching wonderful halibut and a fighter (and delicious) fish called a yellow tail. He knew EXACTLY where to put us to get the action going. Ling cod, a King, we even dropped crab pots! Amazing! I don’t get to fish much, so when I do, I want to be around friendly, helpful folks that are great at what they do, so I can learn from them. Just like last year, Captain Lukas helped me be better than I am. He actually remembered me and gave me more advanced instruction this time. He’s excellent at reading the abilities of folks and adjusting the experience for them. Such an amazing experience and I just wouldn’t go out with anyone else in Ketchikan!

Caught a lot of fish! The views were amazing and teaches me more and more every time I come out to go deep sea fishing with him! Highly recommend
