Andrew is an excellent tour guide. He has in-depth knowledge of the city and provided us with detailed information regarding all the tourist sites. We were extremely impressed with his knowledge on movies, songs and all the actors. My 16yo son and I highly recommend him because he is funny, entertaining and a great impersonator. My daughter and I had a fabulous day with our tour guide Ryan, who was personable, professional and an all around great guy. For two women traveling alone to a new city, it was so important to feel safe and protected while we saw the sights and had fun. Ryan picked us up in a comfortable SUV at 9:00am at our downtown hotel and dropped us off at Warner Bros in time for our 4:30 studio tour. In between, we saw all of the sights that we wanted to and more. What made this tour so different was that our guide structured the tour to cover what we wanted to see and we spent more or less time at places based on our wishes. It was like spending the day with a friend who takes you on a tour of their hometown. Ryan was knowledgeable about history and had lots of fun stories about the famous folks of LA. Because we were on our own timetable, we took the time to get a henna tattoo at Venice Beach, go on a roller coaster ride at Santa Monica Pier and have a Rodeo Drive photo shoot. We stopped for photos whenever we wanted to and skipped places that we had seen the day before. Ryan indulged our desire to see homes of the rich and famous as we wound our way through Beverly Hills and he happily took photos of the two of us throughout the day. Every time we saw the tour buses packed with sweating tourists who looked like they just wanted to go home, we congratulated ourselves on our tour choice. Yes it was a bit more money, but it was worth every penny when you factor in the custom pick up and drop off and the fact that we really got a flavor for the entire city of LA in just one day. I can't rave enough about this tour and our guide and am appreciative of previous reviewers whose words steered me into making this choice. Perfect for couple, family or a group of friends out to see the sights. Highly, highly recommend!
