What To Expect

Skagway

Our tour begins through Skagway's historic district where you will have a chance to see what life was like over 110 years ago during the time of the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush. From here we start heading north to the Canadian border and the summit of the White Pass.

Emerald Lake

Once we cross the Canadian border we continue north along the very scenic Klondike highway eventually crossing into the Yukon Territory. Your driver will provide rich historic commentary as you sit back and enjoy the ride all the way to Emerald Lake, Yukon.

Carcross

Here you will have the chance to visit a historic First Nations, Yukon village. Full of historic First Nation's history its hard not to find charm around every corner. From Totem poles, First Nation art work, shopping, coffee shop, and White Pass Yukon Route train depot all available to see here. You will have time here to grab some lunch. From here we head south back to Skagway for drop off in town or at the ship.

I am so happy I booked this tour! Vanesa is very personable and extremely knowledgeable of Skagway and the Yukon as well as the history of the Gold Rush. The car was extremely comfortable and clean. Vanesa took us to some amazing spots and was also quick to find wildlife and even turn around if we passed something (like the juvenile bear hidden by grass on the side of the road). She knew how to stay ahead of the large tour groups so we could enjoy our time in the different locations. She put up with my silly family and played along with our shenanigans. We never felt rushed by her and she made sure we saw everything we wanted. If you are ever in Skagway, booking this tour is a MUST! You will not be disappointed.

The best excursion on our 7 days Alaskan Cruise. Vanessa, was an extremely knowledgeable guide and hostess. Very comfortable ride for an adult family of 6. My wife and I went with our two adult daughters and their husbands. Vanessa afforded us plenty of picturesque stops as described in the tour write up as well as several other fun stops along the way. Strong recommend this tour very well worth the investment.

This excursion was the absolute best one I’ve ever taken. Vanessa was personable, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the area. Her car was very clean and comfortable. She knew all the right places to pull over for the best photos. I would absolutely recommend this trip to everyone wanting a private tour! You will NOT be disappointed!
