If you do one thing, do this tour combo! We were a group of 6, 3 couples, that did the night manta ray snorkel AND a morning 4 hour snorkel @ Captain Cook, another amazing spot, and saw spinner dolphins, manta rays in the day time, and explored the Kona coast. It couldn’t have been better. Captain Johnny for the day tour was the best. Great to have a locals view of life on the island, wildlife, and history. Highly knowledgeable and treats you like you’ve been neighbors your whole life. Captain Sam, and her team for the night snorkel were so into the manta ray experience. The rays swam up to us at night, easily 40 times. Conditions were a little choppy, but safe, and the crew gave us all the time they could to be in awe of the rays. Experience of a lifetime! Thank you to the whole family and employees who take these two tours to the next level. We LOVED it! 🥰 - Your friends in Idaho!

There were multiple manta ray snorkel companies at the starting point, so finding ours took just a few minutes. Viator gave me multiple addresses, but it was fine. After checking in, we waited for the boat for a bit. Large groups came in and I am glad that we had just the 4 of us; kids 16 and 14. We held onto a surfboard that had (6) ropes added to the sides. We saw a bunch of mantas. My son had two touch him. I brought a GoPro and the video quality is good with the lights that the guide used.
