Highway 89A Sedona

On the way to the trail, you'll get to see some of Sedona's famous rock formations.

Schnebly Hill Road

Guests will be taken back in time on this old chuckwagon road that connected Sedona to Flagstaff before Hwy 89 A was built.

I took my 17 year old daughter on a 2 hour trip up the bumpy Schnebly Hill Road through the beautiful red rocks of Sedona. Our driver was friendly, funny, and very informative, and the views were spectacular. Note that during the trip there were several other companies' Jeeps on the road that our driver allowed to pass us. Our driver stated that A Day in the West does not allow their drivers to drive fast. So, take that into account when deciding whether to book with these guys -- whether you want a slow and deliberate crawl or a woohoo exciting drive. I had some lower back pain that day so I appreciated the slow crawl.

Today my girlfriend and I enjoyed a trip through Sedona with A Day in the West Tours. Our guide Brew was amazing, bringing humor, knowledge of the area and plant life, and some top notch driving skills. There is alot of competition for these jeep tours, but I can say you won't be disappointed with A Day in the West. Make sure to check for a Groupon before booking, we saved a ton, and ask for Brew as your guide if possible!

My friend, Patrick and I had an amazing experience on the Mogollan Rim Jeep Tour!!! Colorado Dave was the best tour guide, he had the best stories and was extremely knowledgeable about Sedona plus he didn't rush the tour! It seemed a lot of the other tours were zooming by us. So this tour is highly recommended but it is treacherous so don't do this one in particular if you can't handle a lot of bouncing, sometimes airborne with seatbelts and gripping the sidebars! I felt like a kid on a rollercoaster!!! Beautiful view and so much fun!!!
