You're reading this b/c you are trying to figure out what tour is worth your investment - this one is it! You can research must-see spots on your own (and I highly recommend the free guides that you can find on Max's cityrover website), but if you want someone else to do that work to ensure you make the most of your time in NYC, do this tour. We enjoy walking and exploring, and didn't want to waste time on a touristy double decker bus or something that stops for a picture at various sites - we wanted to explore and learn. Max is personable and truly cares that you get out of this tour what you are seeking - he engaged our teens in conversation, and was a true delight to spend a few hours with. This is your tour, he asks when/if you need to rest, snack, take a bathroom break, and made sure we got to our one world trade tour on time - you aren't at the mercy of a fixed tour with a guide that has memorized their script. I highly recommend Max and cityrover.
