There are some places you just can't get to on horseback, and this off-road experience gives you a backstage pass to the very best Gunstock Ranch has to offer. Get a look behind the scenes at grazing cattle and native wildlife, and sample some tropical fruit if it's in season. Our guides will narrate it all and bring to life the stories and hidden gems of the ranch. You'll see favorite spots like the Hidden Cave, WWII historical sites, and filming locations for TV. Then top it all off with a delicious picnic lunch overlooking awe-inspiring views of Oahu’s North Shore.

lots of fun. quite fast and bouncy which i liked. we’re able to feed cows which was lovely. guide was super friendly and chatty and we were amazed at how she remembered her way around all the different paths and handled the ATV so expertly providing us with an informative narrative all the way including locations of movies and tv shows. a great and cheaper less busy alternative to kualoa ranch.

We arrived an hour early to make sure we didn't miss our window (traffic can be terrible on the North Shore). After waiting 30 minutes past our start time, we were informed by the very nice girl working that we were reserved for only 5 people. There were 7 of us. SEVEN people that I paid for through Viator but only FIVE on their work sheet so they could not accommodate us. My friends flew from Maui (on vacation from San DIego) ONLY for this tour with us and the 3 children were sobbing as we left. It was terrible. They couldn't figure out how that happened but nonetheless there was nothing we could do. The company did refund us within the hour, luckily, but our entire day was ruined. Instead we wandered around the North Shore in an attempt to show our visitors a good time. I feel badly for Gunstock Ranch because it seemed like it would have been a nice excursion but I have to give ZERO stars for the terrible lack of communication between Viator and their company or for whatever technological glitch that happened - either way, we suffered the waste of time and gas and money to get there.

Liz was an excellent guide - knowledgeable and friendly. A different experience than the typical tourist activity and a great opportunity to enjoy the North Shore! There were stops to see the cattle, various lookouts, and an unexpected cave. The private tour was more personal and allowed for more conversation with our guide.
