Overview

Learn how to surf at the birth place of surfing with your very own certified Waikiki Beachboy. We are located in the heart of Waikiki, just steps away from the water's edge!

A private lesson is the best way to maximize your time on the water. Kids 12 and younger must take a private, one-on-one lesson for safety reasons. All participants must be able to swim.

Make sure to ask about the photo services (with additional charge) to capture the moment.

I took a private surf lesson with Vince and he was the man! I had taken a lesson or two before and watched videos about popping up and practiced trying to get ahead of the game a little bit. Vince told me to do some things that went against the grain from things I had previously heard (going to your knees first, grabbing the rails, etc.). I listened to Vince and I was standing up in no time. By applying what Vince taught me I was able to go back out a few more days and catch waves on my own, even moving down to a smaller board on my last day. I would also recommend getting the photo package. I got some great videos and pictures to remember my first waves!

Sounds like you are a very diligent learner by studying on your own by finding some video instructions prior to coming out to take lessons with us! I have never been surfing before and this was pretty well outside my comfort zone. The people here were amazing at teaching and guiding me into it, I had so much fun and didn't want to stop! Definitely recommend. They even have photo services which I love.

I've had several great lessons with Izah over the past year and he is a wonderful and professional instructor! I have definitely improved and learned so much during the lessons. He even offers some very useful tips that I can use if / when I get the chance to surf in other places...like back home in NJ! Plus, surfing in beautiful Waikiki Beach is a blast! Overall, I'm very happy with Waikiki Beach services...I've met a few of the other instructors and they are all friendly and incredibly experienced as well!
