We will take you to exclusive beaches that are only accessible by boat along the Gulf of Mexico, near beautiful Clearwater Beach, Dunedin, Honeymoon Island, Caladesi Island, and Tarpon Springs. All trips are BYOB, we offer water, cooler full of ice, and a BBQ (by request and bring your own food) on board if you wish to grill out.
Please NOTE: 2 hour Sunset Tour - Start time can very depending on the time of year and sunset time.

What To Expect

Clearwater Beach

Hop aboard get ready to set sail for a fun day on the water. Here we will go over our safety protocol, discuss what you would like to explore. Please note all of our trips are fully customizable.

Caladesi Island State Park

Caladesi State Park is a unique state park that is only accessible by boat. This is an amazing island to explore. We will anchor the boat along the beautiful sandbar and/or island where you can soak up the sun, explore for seashells, lay out on the lily pad, and just enjoy the beautiful gulf waters. Keep an eye out for beautiful sea life, like dolphins, manatee, manta rays, and so much more.

My husband and I did a 4 hour tour and I could not have asked for a better experience! Captain Nick and Vil were very welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun. The boat was SO clean and very comfortable. They took a normal 4 hour boat ride experience and made it exceptional. We not only got to check out the amazing islands, they were on the lookout to make sure that we saw all the wildlife that we wanted to see! Lots of Dolphins, Tarpon, MANTA RAYS, and A HAMMERHEAD SHARK! I truly was taken back by what a great day and experience we had. We cannot WAIT to book another day on The Island Runner.

Captain Nick took me & my girls (15 & 18 years of age) on an amazing adventure. We chatted prior to the trip and decided that seeing wildlife & visiting out-of- the-way beaches was high on our wish list; he did not disappoint. On our way out to the 2 pristine, Bahamian-like beaches we visited, we saw a huge Osprey nest full of babies, numerous dolphins and a school of about a dozen HugeTarpon (captain Nick said they weighed 100 - 200 lbs each!). We snorkled off the beach where the water was warm & crystal clear. We collected lots of shells and caught & released a starfish. The pinnacle of the day was at the second beach where we swam near a manatee for about a half mile parallel to the beach, about 20 feet offshore!!! This was a once in a lifetime experience and we are still amazed that it actually happened. We ended our 6-hour tour with lunch at Olde Bay Cafe in Dunedin; we all tried Copie fish for the first time and it was delicious! We are extremely thankful to Captain Nick for making his boat available for rental. We had the best day of our vacation out on the water with him. He is professional, knowlegeable and very friendly. We will definitely call Captain Nick the next time we are in the area.
