Our small custom airboats and experienced naturalist Captains make this Everglades tour a memorable and one of a kind adventure. The River Of Grass airboats are comfortable and suitable for all ages. Enjoy a relaxing, yet thrilling ride through Americans largest wetlands. Your captain will stop throughout the tour to share information about the Everglades complex ecosytems, and its array of wildlife, like alligator, crocodile, exotic birds, panther and even black bear that call it home. We selected River of Grass Adventures airboat tour because of the reviews on this site. We were not disappointed at all! It was everything we wanted it to be. We hoped for a small boat that only carried a few people and that’s what Captain Willy provided. 8 people max made for a smooth ride. We were out a little over an hour. Captain Willy was real personable and knowledgeable . He stopped multiple times to explain various features of the glades. We saw several gators and other wildlife. We all got caught in a rain storm that hit us a half hour into our 1 hour trip but Willy had some rain gear that made it bearable. It cleared up as fast as it appeared but we still got soaked. I suggest you watch the forecast and be prepared. You can only reserve this trip on their website but that was not a problem. They’ll respond quickly and email you an invoice which you also pay online. No money changes hands at the dock. The dock by the way, is not a big deal. It’s a public access but they’ll give you great directions on how to get there. Lots of parking space. We highly recommend River of Grass Adventures for your Everglades airboat ride. Best $60 per person we spent all vacation.

This was absolutely fantastic - the experience was everything we wanted!! Robby was very informative, knew exactly where to go so we could see both adult AND baby alligators up close, wonderful view of the mangrove swamps, truly the best part of our trip!! Exactly what we were looking for - no kitchy in-your-face gift shops or obligatory alligator "show", just a wonderful educational and memorable tour with an expert guide that I cannot recommend enough! Great company!!
