Great climbing trip with Front Range in Garden of the Gods! But first, a bit of background. We were traveling with five families – including fourteen kids between the ages of eight and fourteen. So this was a large group trip for Front Range to manage. And to top it off, no one in the group had any outdoor climbing experience. (Hey, we live in a city that’s pancake flat and below sea level.) So put that all together, and I was a little nervous about scheduling this tour. What if the kids didn’t engage? What if we were too large a group to get anything done? Not to worry – we had a great time. Front Range sent out five guides to support us plus a sixth guide/photographer. And they picked the right location for us – a secluded top rope area where we could climb and rappel together on a rock face with multiple climbing routes. Granted the location wasn’t as scenic as some in GoG, but it was definitely the right spot for us. Everyone – kids and adults - surprised themselves with what they were able to accomplish, and we have some great pics and memories. Thanks to Cole and Sara, our lead guides. Special thanks to Sara for her patience with my frequent queries ahead of the trip. Garden of the Gods is beautiful, but climbing takes it to another level, and Front Range delivers.

This was an excellent experience. I wasn’t that excited initially and didn’t know what to expect, but Justin guided us to a fantastic time. The initial climb was a good warm up and it lets your guide have an idea of how much you can do. Fortunately, my son and I were handling the climbing adventure and learning quickly so we were able to do 6 total climbs within our time frame. If you want to push yourself, be adventurous, and have a great time, this is something you will never forget. It truly is a once in a lifetime event that you should try. It is worth every dime for this experience!

We had a wonderful rock climbing experience! The views at the Garden of the Gods is gorgeous from the ground but even all the more breathtaking from the top. Cole was a great guide, excellent communication prior to our climb and throughout. He was especially great with my 13 year-old thrill seeker son! 10/10 highly recommend!
