A friend and I did a half day climbing tour in Garden of the Gods with Darren recently. He picked out climbs perfectly matched to what we wanted to do (5.7 climbs, multi-pitch with exposure). I am a novice climber with limited outdoor climbing experience and Darren was able to answer my questions regarding safe route setting and rappelling. He has great knowledge of the area, telling us the history of many of the climbs. If you're a dog lover, his friendly dog Karma hangs out at the bottom of climbs, eating acorns and keeping a watchful eye on your gear. I was a little hesitant to shell out the $125/person for the half day climbing tour, but it ended up being the highlight of my trip to Colorado Springs. I would highly recommend Darren to anyone considering climbing in the Colorado Springs area.

Yesterday Isaac took my daughter Jessa (12) out for one last adventure before school starts. What a beautiful day of climbing in Garden of the Gods. Isaac was a fantastic and his passion for climbing was evident. He went well beyond getting a kid up the route, and took the time to teach my daughter about the equipment and how it works as well as being a great coach and encouraging her up the rock. If you're looking for a fun adventure - definitely give Front Range Climbing a call and ask for Isaac.

My husband and I are so grateful that our guides, Isaac and Phil, made our first rock-climbing experience the best ever! We didn't consider rock-climbing when we planned our trip to Garden of the Gods, but Isaac assured us that it would be fine for our two-year old to join us. Everyone had a blast!
