William is a fantastic guide. He’s incredibly knowledgeable. It’s very apparent he knows what he’s doing. He knew exactly where and when the halibut were biting and he was great with both the experienced and the novices on the boat. Couldn’t recommend more!!!

My husband, friends and I stopped in Ketchikan on an Alaskan cruise and wanted to go fishing but also did not want to pay the sometimes astronomical pricing for an excursion booked through the cruise line. William’s Alaska King Charter fishing tour was absolutely the way to go! He was able to pick us up in his boat right outside the cruise which was incredibly convient and maximized our time fishing in Ketchikan. We went out to some waters that he is familiar with that are known to have halibut, and sure enough, we caught some! William is very pasionate and knowledgeable about the sport which made the experience that much more amazing. I’d also like to add that he works well with experienced fishers AND beginners like myself! Highly recommend looking into this if you’ll be in Ketchikan during a cruise, or if you’re passing through town. Also, pro-tip — book in advanced as the busy summer season approaches.

Absolutely AMAZING TOUR !!! After we looked at all the great reviews we decided to try it out ! 100% will do it again ! William our tour guide picked us off 10 feet for our cruise, very convenient! He is very knowledgeable about all the types of fish , as well as the exact spots where fishes will be at ! He is also great with time management to make sure you don’t miss your cruise! Make sure you book in advance , because these tour get booked fast ! My husband and I both caught a large halibut! Definitely was an amazing experience!
