We had the BEST day on this charter! We were blessed with great weather, which was a great start. We fished for halibut first, quickly caught 2, plus a black cod! Then switched to salmon, and caught them as fast as we could get the lines in. Stopped early, as we had more fish than we expected to send home. This gave us extra time to enjoy lovely Ketchikan. We couldn’t have asked for more. William was an excellent guide, and even spotted our first whale for us. It was cooperative enough to show its beautiful tail. Highly recommend Alaska King Fishing Charter!

The crew were very knowledgeable about the area and taught us lots of good tips about open water fishing.The captain (William) was really friendly and knew not only aesthetic spots to show us around in his brand new boat but also he took us to great hot spots for salmon fishing. I was there in late July and didn’t think I’d have much luck with Kings, but he knew a spot and he came through with it. My brother and I both caught 15+ pound kings. Also let’s not forget we all caught our limits on the halibuts!

No disrespect to Captain Williams, but Kevin had me and my son at two short of limits by 4.0 hours in to our 6 hour charter. So we did catch and release until we both had trophy Coho on board. Kevin has a lot of patience and is very personable. Captain Williams was great with communication; picked up my phone call on Sunday morning at 7 AM! Go with these guys if you can, you won't be disappointed. For those folks that give 1 star for being skunked, you're not a fisherman. Everyone gets skunked sometimes and it's not always the skippers fault; it's fishing, enjoy the time on the water in a safe boat with a great skipper.
