Our family enjoyed a three-generation reunion in Scottsdale and all 11 of us had a blast on this off-road desert tour. We knew it would be fun riding in a jeep through the desert -- just did not know we would learn so much and have the time pass so quickly! We had five family members in one Jeep and six in the other. Trevis was the guide in my Jeep and he was especially knoweldgable about every aspect of the Desert -- it's history and evolution, the plant life and how it survives such harsh conditions, the animal life and how it is symbiotic with the plants in this ecosystem. We even enjoyed a little history about how the indigenous people survived and thrived in this environment. We stopped a few times for educational (and bio) breaks as well as picture taking. We learned a lot about the cacti and even ran into a black & white critter by the river. :) Our three hours went by so very quickly that I would not recommend taking the shorter two hour tour. My advice is to remember that this is an open-air Jeep so bring along extra layers for the drive to and from the Desert entrance -- the 40 to 50 mph road rides got a little chilly for some of us with limited insulation. We loved the experience and highly recommend Trevis!

I decided this would be a fun way to to leave 2020 in the dust...literally. Surprised my husband with a private sunset tour for New Yearā€™s Eve and we were not disappointed. Trevis was an amazing tour guide and even though weā€™ve lived in Arizona for years, we learned so many new interesting facts about the desert. 11/10 recommend this tour and Trevis as your tour guide. What a fun and unforgettable experience. Thank you, Trevis!

We decided to take the private tour with Trevis based on the reviews here. He was very informative and a blast to be around! Trevis made the trip memorable for my wife and I and will make sure my parents take his tour next!
