To start off they have absolutely GREAT customer service! From the moment I called to inquire about booking a last minute tour, then changing it 2 different times, to being lost on my way there and he literally talked to me and guided me into the parking lot and having Larry the great and knowable tour guide. Oh yeah the next day I realized that I had left my camera and scarf in the Jeep, they said they're send it back to me (not here yet, but that was 2 days ago). We did the sunset "Scenic Vortex Tour". Larry took us to several places and various views of the mountains. The spot he took us to for the sunset was also amazing.

In early October, our party made our annual trip to Sedona, which we truly enjoy! This time we experienced a magnificent jeep tour (2.5 hours) throughout the back country and off-road aspects of the absolutely beautiful Sedona area. For those who think that Sedona is the downtown and its gorgeous views of the red rock mountains - they are greatly missing the Sedona experience. Our guide, Kevin, was truly amazing in his knowledge of the area, its history, its spirituality, and its soothing presence. It was Kevin who made our experience truly moving and we would highly recommend Earth Wisdom Tours, especially with Kevin as your guide - we'll be back (with more friends and family).

We went on the Vortex Tour, which happened to be during sunset. It was a great tour and the guide, Hugh, was a really kind, sensitive man. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because the jeep didn't have long seat belts and a larger woman had to get out of the back and move up to the front seat because the seat belt wouldn't fit her, and she wasn't that big either. Also, we went to Mystic vista first, which was outstanding. Then we finished the sunset at Cathedral Rock. I think the sunset would have been better up on Mystic Vista where there is a 360 degree view. This is just me being picky though. Overall, it was a really neat tour. The guide told us his company only had permits for certain places so a woman in our group was told she couldn't veer off the path because he didn't have a permit for where she wanted to walk and take a picture. That was a drawback. I definitely recommend Mystic Vista. The spot we went to in order to see Cathedral Rock was kind of far from Cathedral Rock and I would have preferred we visited the spot of Cathedral Rock where there's a pool of water and you can get a double image of the rocks reflecting in the water. Overall, though, we did have a good time with Hugh and he was an interesting tour guide.
