We are currently OPEN for private (you/family) tours… (I’ve had both covid vaccine shots and I'll be wearing a mask)— You pick the time you'd like to go.

All our tours are private, so it would just be you and your party + a guide (moi).
I've spent a dozen years as a Lifeguard on a number of Miami's beaches and know much of what it used to be like... and how it's been transformed.
I've been doing these Segway Tours since 2007 and have been awarded TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence every year since I've been in business i.e. every year since 2007.
And SEGWAYSOUTHBEACH was the very first .COM touring company to get approval from the City of Miami Beach to begin operations on the beach.
On South Beach we go 7 miles and it usually takes about an hour and a half.

After you book ANY day / time (you can always cancel before that day without any fee), we'll be able to communicate directly with you... to ensure your tour is private, change, update, clarify anything.

Mike's years of experience in the area show through in his stories and history. Great fun, and the best part of the Segway is how much area you can cover in a short amount of time. We try to Segway wherever we can on trips, and this was another terrific tour. Great stories, fun taking a turn on Mike's fancier hands-free Segway. With just us on the tour, much easier/better than single file lines with larger groups or having to wear headsets to hear. Recommend!

Mike is very good and knowledgeable.. This was the first time on a Segway for myself and my son. And I am a very cautious person by nature so took my time getting comfortable:) But Mike was very patient and yet kept pushing me to do it, which was perfect. We saw the sights in comfort, much nicer than walking.. would recommend doing this early in the morning, since traffic is less and the heat is bearable.

Overall, it was a lot of fun and Mike was really helpful in both area info and in teaching us how to ride (especially me who, though I had a strong core and had been cleared by my doc, have general balance/klutzy issues and had just recently had abdominal surgery). The one thing I would say is that it wasn't worth the $200 for my boyfriend and I to take this tour - seemed short, but maybe it was cut short by the tropical storm coming in, not sure. But it was a private tour for only the 2 of us and the locale is in an expensive part of Miami, so maybe that is the justification for the high cost?
