We loved being able to sit back and enjoy the wine tastings without having to worry about driving and navigating through wine country. We did a private Napa tour one day and private Sonoma another. I would recommend doing the longer tours if possible. Lonny was our driver and he was amazing! He made sure we were comfortable and kept us on schedule, while pointing out interesting facts between tastings. He was even able to make an impromptu reservations for us at a wine tasting. We had a great time and requested Lonny drive both of our tours. If you are able to make a request for a driver Lonny is an excellent choice!

We booked this private tour with Cardinal Transportation via Viator (Trip Advisor). We were told the SUV was sold out but the sedan was still available. Within 15 minutes of paying $399.50 and receiving email confirmation for our pick up at 9 am the next morning, I received a text message from an unknown number stating that they would not be able to service the tour for at least 48 hours. When I informed this person that would not work for us as we were leaving town in 48 hours the reply was "I'll see what I can do." I never heard back from this person again despite several text messages. I tried calling the phone but the voice mailbox was full and could not accept messages. I called the main phone number for Cardinal Transportation and left a message but never received any call back. A simple "Sorry we can't do it" would have been suffice but to not answer when the pick up time for the tour is within 12 hours is completely unacceptable. We (the customers) were stuck in the middle of your miscommunication with the third party booking agent ( Viator). If you could not accommodate us you should have told Viator that the tour was sold out and take it down from the website. Or perhaps a novel idea...answer someone's text message or phone call. This is terrible customer service. Upon reading other reviews about Cardinal Transportation, this seems to be their modus operandi. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

It takes up to 24 hrs for TripAdvisor / Viator system to update our availability. If booking received and vehicle is not available , as we receive other bookings via different 3rd party platforms , we notify 3rd party and guest immediately and issue full refund, which was done.
