Overview

Paddle along the historic Anahulu stream, home of the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. These enormous and friendly sea creatures swim peacefully along the river. They can grow up to 500lbs!

Enjoy learning about the history of the location while learning skills and tips about stand up paddling. Come during the evening to enjoy a stunning Hawaiian sunset.

You will begin with a brief lesson on land and then paddle across a calm bay into the Anahulu stream. This activity is great for families, large groups, couples, or 1-on-1. All sessions include photos.

Don't have good balance? New to the sport? Don't know how to swim? No worries -- All our instructors are certified lifeguards, super friendly, and highly trained to give you an awesome experience on the water.

My friend and I took a two-hour private lesson today, booked the same day. I had never been paddle boarding before, but my friend is quite experienced at this. Our guide was incredibly patient and made sure I was okay the whole time, while also providing pointers for my friend which allowed her to gain new skills, so it wasn’t a waste of time for her. A fantastic experience. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place!

We had a "free" day on vacation when we didn't have any prearranged activities. We drove back to North Shore simply because we were drawn by its quaint authenticity and natural beauty. My two teenage kids wanted to learn about water sports like kayaking and paddleboard so I just Googled and found Rainbow Watersports. We drove to where the GPS directed and couldn't see any shops. So I called and that's when I learned that I should be looking for a rainbow-decorated truck. Heidi answered our call and despite that we didn't make an appointment, she was happy to serve us. She was so warm and genuine and gave a thorough instruction to my kids. After my kids were on their way, she ran after them and guided them down the bay. I guess it must be the Aloha spirit that gave her the smiles and friendliness. The kids bonded with her and we had a great time.

We wanted to paddle board while on vacation in Oahu, and found Rainbow Watersports. What a wonderful experience this was. We were lucky enough to have Vivi as our instructor and guide She was so patient and delightful to tour with. This was an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend.
