Overview

Learn to surf on Maui. Our friendly and experienced instructors will have you up and riding waves during your 2 hour class. The private surf lesson is a great class for one-on-one attention and support from your surf coach. This class is recommended if you have surfed before or if you would like 100% attention from your surf coach. You will progress quicker with a private lesson. We have a water photographer available to capture your surf session (additional rates apply). We provide your board, lycra surf shirt, and reef shoes.

It was our first time surfing and Turtle was the best teacher to do it! It ended up being my favorite activity of the whole trip!

My Son and I spent an awesome two hours with "Turtle." He was patient and was able to make our experience memorable and wanting to come back again. We highly recommend Surf Club Maui; you won't be disappointed!

I took a private lesson from Surf Club Maui and felt it was a great value for money. I got individualized lesson and lots of runs. Except for the first run, I was able to stand up and ride for at least a short distance, thanks to the direction and instruction from Jordan. He was also great at judging which waves to try for, when to paddle, when to stand etc. And he had great tips for when and how to stand up and stay up. At the end of the lesson I felt like I could try and do surfing again on my own.
