Escape from the crowded tourist areas for a private, 90-minute surf lesson for two near Lahaina, Maui. Choose from an early-, mid-, or late-morning time frame. This surf session will focus on water safety, proper surf technique, surfing style, and etiquette. The experienced, professional instructor guarantees students will stand up, catch a wave, and leave the beach as a certified surfer. From the moment we met up with our surf instructor Sharky, he was the epitome of Hawaiian hospitality and surfing knowledge. Our 12-year old twins were surfing for the first time. He was kind, calm and attentive. We would recommend Sharky to everyone.

Amazing experience. We had never tried to surf before so we were a little hesitant but our instructor was knowledgeable and put us at ease. We had a great time. We absolutely recommend.
