Eddie was absolutely amazing! He was so informative that everyone of us got up on our fist wave ever and my husband and I were able to catch a wave at the exact same time!

I had my first-ever surf lesson with Eddie while I was visiting Kihei and it was an amazing experience! I had no idea that a fun morning of surfing was so accessible (for a Canadian prairie-girl mom!) - With his help I was able to get up on the first wave and it was a blast for the entire 2 hour lesson. I appreciated his patient instruction and emphasis on how to be safe in the water. The surf lessons are held in relatively shallow water and the waves are the perfect size for learning. I would recommend booking a lesson with Eddie if you are considering learning to surf while you are in Maui! I hope to be able to visit Maui again someday and I will definitely make time for another surf lesson or two! My three sons were able to watch from the beach and they were not ready to try surfing this trip but I definitely would be at ease with them taking a lesson with me next time! I was able to book a lesson online via email to Summer and she was very accommodating and professional. Thank you for the great experience - it was the highlight of my time in Maui! :)

Great lesson and made my first surfing experience successful and very enjoyable! Eduardo was very helpful and articulate in explaining the proper techniques related to getting set on the board, prepping and entering the wave, and maintaining good control and form during the wave. Very well-rounded lesson that covered all aspects of surfing: board overview, stance/technique and transport, safe entry and exit from the water, wave riding, rider and safety awareness while in and out of the water. Excellent beach location with perfect waves for learning. Very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend to anyone interested in surfing in Maui! Thank you, Surf Yoga Maui!
