We had thought hard about whether we should afford the "luxury" of a privately guided tour, but the fact is that the tour with Kevin was without a doubt worth every dollar. Not only did we have an extremely interesting guided tour (Gilded Age), which we could never have done with a book as a guide, but Kevin was also able to elaborately answer our detailed questions. My advice to anyone considering whether or not to take a tour in NYC is to get in touch with New York Historical Tours. I know I'll definitely book another tour with Kevin next time I'm in New York.
